Memberships

There are three categories of membership in the Association: Full Member, Corresponding Member and Individual Member.

1. Full Members of the Association are associations, societies, research institutes, university and government departments, and companies in Asia. Representative of Full Member may attend meetings of the Association, take part in its discussions, receive its publications, and organize Asia GIS Conferences.

2. Corresponding Members of the Association are associations, societies, research institutes, university and government departments and companies outside Asia which are interested in GIS development in Asia. Representative of Corresponding Member may attend meetings of the Association, take part in its discussions and receive its publications.

3. Individual Members of the Association are individuals who are interested in the activities of the Association. Individual Member may attend meetings of the Association, take part in its discussions and receive its publications.

All applications for membership shall be made to the Secretary-General and dealt with by the Executive Committee.

Membership Fees

The annual fees of Full Members, Corresponding Members, and Individual Members shall be fixed by the Council based on proposal by the Executive Committee from time to time.
